Phil Fonds
The Phil Fonds Foundation supports children in the Philippines with a handicap in (special) education also we support the starting of educational- and well-being projects for these children. The Phil Fonds Foundation helps these children in their own environment where possible. Support is aimed at children who, without help from third parties would have no or little chance on education and/or well-being.
The Philippines are one long archipelago of over 7100 islands in the Pacific. With a total of 300.000 square kilometres; the islands are scattered over an area of approximatly 800.000 square kilometres.
Public elementary- and high school education is free in the Philippines. This goes for handicapt children too. Because of poverty parents or guardians cannot cope with the extra costs education brings for the handicapt children. Costs consisting of accompaniment and transportation.
The Phil Fonds Foundation profiles itself by a strong personal friendship between child and donator, molded into the 'adoptionplan' and the foundation of small educational- and well-being projects.
The Phil Fonds foundation wants to distinguish by being an organisation with little to no costs which makes it possible to use almost 100% of received gifts for the children. The foundation has had free help from a notary, a bookkeeper, a bank, an internet provider, a transportation company, a website builder and many more. Where possible we ask for help, services and support, in asking for help we put the emphasis on voluntarily!
The Phil Fonds foundation is led by motivated un-payed volunteers. We know the situation in the Philippines very well and we also use unpaid volunteers there.
The Phil Fonds foundation is helped by a great number of persons and companies.
